Logos are strange things, they are there to be recognized and to advertise a brand, product or thing.
Logos are meant to be eye catching and grab the viewer all the while making an imprint upon the viewer to ingrain the logo in their minds to link it to its meaning.
For example the Mcdonalds logo is instantly recognizable by nearly everyone on earth. it has a bright yellow colour that they use on both tv adverts as well as roadside signs in which over continuous exposure make the viewer instantly know what the big yellow M means.
whats strange about the LOGO is that its extremely simple - easy to replicate and is of one shade of colour. its simple yet does its job well.
Twitters logo is much like the Mcdonald's logo where as its instantly recognizable as its simply a blue bird. the word twitter is accosted with birds and therefore this logo works perfectly. the shape of this logo is also relativly simple its simply a collection of circles over each other that are colored in to create the logo
Channel 4's logo is very much the same as the above two however this logo uses shapes in order to create the logo. these shapes are all of different sizes and shapes that together make it into the number 4. This logo comes in a multitude of colours too depending on what the network wants it to be. this network in particular change their logo animation from time to time in order to keep it relavent and real. they do this by re colouring the logo and adding a fancy animation however the logo in its basic form of shapes stays the same. By doing this it allows the viewer to always have the logo fresh in their heads and they wont forget it due to its blandness.
Now Pokemons logo is different from the above, its entirely letters in a unique font.
this bright blue bordered and yellow logo is one in which is forcefully eye catching due to its clashing colours. the yellow and blue clash and make the logo stand out from the rest of the logos quite a bit more than the ones above. This Logo as said only uses letters to make it which actually.
