What is a .GIF file?
a gif file is basically a file in which loops are series of images together to create a small loop of moving images. in the case below all i did was simply add more pixels to one sprite scene and save it. then using a delay the images play one after each other ultimately creating the gif.
the gif can be used to give others an idea or be used in the game to create very simple animations in which to showcase. in the case of .gifs also the individual files are saved alongside it so if ,GIF files dont work the actual frames are safe within the files.
in the one below using the basic design all i did was add a crying phase using blue pixels at various stages and just alter some colours.
